You have me in Stitches...

This week on Heart 2 Heart Challenges Blog they are looking for anything with sewing on it.  It can be handstitching, machine, or "faux" stitching.  Today I'm sharing with you a card that I had made awhile ago, but haven't shared yet.
It's hard to tell, but I did some machine stitching around the outside edge.  I used the Stella paper pack (one of my favorites this year), the flowers are part of the Paradise Paper Flowers and I also used the Bitty Pearl Gems too.  I used the Cricut AP cartridge to cut out the center piece.
Here is a close up of the stitching.

Now let's see what kind of stitching you can add to your projects.  Have a great day!

Heart2Heart Weekly Challenge

This week's challenge is all about STITCHING! This can be real stitching or faux stitching, hand stitching or pen drawn stitching - whatever you would like as long as we can see signs of stitching on your artwork (and of course, you use mostly CTMH products!)  Click Here to see the wide variety of samples made by the Desgin Team.

I will post my creation here when it is complete.  Right now I'm going downstairs to dust off my sewing machine.....

Here is my creation:  I used Bella paper pack with the colors Smokey Plum, Creme Brulee, and Olive.  I used the CTMH stamp set called D1410 One of a Kind for the flowers and D1347 Confidential for the tab.  I added some sparkle rhinestones for an extra kick.  For the stitching I actually brought out my old sewing machine and did the zig zag around the smokey plum cardstock, then I did a straight stitch along the striped B and T paper (it's hard to see on the picture) and finally I used a straight stitch around the rectangle mat of the flowers.
Here is a close-up of the stitching:

Have fun stitching on your next project!
