Color Challenge

This week at Heart 2 Heart Challenges they are having a color challenge.  I just love those.  The colors this week are:
I choose to use Indian Corn Blue as my "Any Blue".  Here is my card that I created.

I used the July Stamp of the Month available starting tomorrow.  It is called D1458 American Celebration.  I also used a retired stamp called B1332 Good Times for the sentiment.  The background paper is a sheet from a retired set called Independence.  It is Bamboo with words written on it.  I stamped the large fireworks image using Barn Red ink.  I then stamped the smaller star fireworks image using Indian Corn Blue ink.  I added Z1313 Glitz glue gel to make it sparkle.  I stamped the rocket image using Barn Red ink on Colonial white scrap paper and the stars using Indian Corn blue, then I cut them out and dabbed a little bamboo ink with my sponge to distress the paper a little and mounted it to the card front using the 3-D foam tape.  I did the same for the sentiment and then mounted it on top of Indian Corn Blue Cardstock.  I added the three buttons to the right of the sentiment.  Then I added a little more glitter glitz on top of the stars for that extra sparkle.

Give this color challenge a try it is perfect for the up coming Independence Day Celebration!
Have a happy 4th!

The bling is really fun, and I love the two-toned look of the sentiment. Thanks for sharing this great card.
