Thanksgiving Placecards

This is the placecard that I created for Thanksgiving this year.  I used my 2" scallop punch and created a little box to hold M&M's.  I used Autumn Terracotta Paper from CTMH and the Turkey is from a retired stamp set by CTMH.  The letter "D" is from the Typewriter keys stamp set.  (set to retire this December)

I punched out two scallops and then cut off 6 of the scallops making the bottom flat.
I cut a piece of cardstock 3" x 3 1/4" for the box.  Then I scored it along the 3" side at 3/4", turned it around and scored again at 3/4".  Then I scored it along the 3 1/4" side at 1 1/4", turned it around and scored again at 1 1/4".
I cut the center scored lines and folded to create a little box, using Tombow to adhere the sides together.
I cut the handle at 1/2" x 5".  Stamped the design on it, inked the edges and then adhered it to the little box centering it up.
I punched out a smaller circle and stamped the Turkey on it using Chocolate Ink.  Stamped my initial using Typewriter alphabet and cut out.  For the back I punched out some retired CTMH paper with leaves on it.
Glued everything on, tied a ribbon on the handle and filled with M&M candies (holds about 20 candies).  It is small, but oh so cute!!!
