Here is my card that I made. I used X7129b Hooligans paper packet. I also added Creme Brulee cardstock and White Daisy cardstock. Stamp sets used are: D1437 Party Animal for the Monster and the caption bubble. C1257 Happy Birthday (retired set) for the sentiment. I used Watercolor pencils and the water pen to color in the monster. I used Black ink and Creme Brulee ink to edge distress my papers. The three circle Epoxy stickers are from Z1386 Sweetheart assortment. Finally I used my Martha S. loopy edge punch on the creme brulee cardstock.

Cold Outside...BRRRR
This weeks challenge at Heart 2 Heart Challenges is to make something that reminds you of the cold. That works perfect for me today, because here in Oregon we finally received a little snow.
It snowed just about 1 1/2 inches total today, but enough to cancel school today. My kids thought that was awesome! They got to get out and enjoyed throwing snowballs for a while. It all melted by this afternoon, but I made a card that reminds me of the chilly snowy weather.
Thanks for looking and remember to post your creations so I can see your beautiful chilly artwork.

This is a picture out our back door early this morning. Looks like about 1" on the railing.
Here is one of my kids enjoying the snow before it melted today.
Here is the cute card I made today. I used the back side of the Miracle paper with the stripes. I also used Amethyst paper and Heavenly blue paper. I stamped the snowflakes using Grey Flannel ink. I also stamped the cute snowman using grey flannel ink and then colored it in. Stamp sets used are: D1317 Feathery Flakes for the snowflakes and the the word "Winter" on the hat. D1244 Snow Friends set for the adorable snowman (I think it more like a snowgirl). I added a couple of sparkles to the buttons and some Glitter Glitz to the snow coming down. I added a little velvet ribbon on a piece of white cardstock that I punched out with my SU border punch. Doesn't it just warm your heart.....Thanks for looking and remember to post your creations so I can see your beautiful chilly artwork.

Valentine's Day LOVE Box
This week at Heart 2 Heart Challenges they want you to share anything made with a heart on it. Here is a 2" square box that I made for one of my stamp clubs this month. It opens up and you can put candy or a small gift inside.
Here are the instructions to make this lovely little box:
Love Box
By Debi Davis
Supplies:
8” x 8” White Daisy cardstock
(4) 1 7/8” x 1 7/8” Tulip cardstock
(4) 1 ¾” x 1 ¾” Black cardstock
(4) 1 ½” x 1 ½” background & Texture paper
(4) 1 ¼” x 1 ¼” White Daisy cardstock
(2) 1” x 2” background & Texture paper
(1) 1 7/8” x 1 7/8” background & Texture paper
(1) Scallop Heart punched from Tulip cardstock
(2) 6”-8" pieces of Ribbon
Red Lines tape
Tombow adhesive
3-D Foam Tape
Black, Tulip, Baby Pink and Blush Ink pads
Directions:
Score the 8” x 8” piece of cardstock at 1”, 3”, 5” and 7”.
Turn 90° and score at 1”, 3”, 5” and 7”.
Cut out along the score lines as pictured. If you cut out the shaded triangle spaces the box will fold better.
Add Red Lines tape along the box tabs as shown: Peel off the red lines backing and build the box.
Decorate your box as desired.
Glue on all the layers of paper on the sides, bottom and top of box. Use 3-D foam squares to attach the side white squares. Punch two holes in the center of the top of the box, going through all the layers including the heart. Tie a knot on one end of the ribbon and run it through the hole. Do the same for the other side. Fill with candy or gift and tie the top closed with a bow.
I hope you enjoy making this box and don't forget to check out what other people have come up with at the Heart 2 Heart blog.
