Heart 2 Heart Weekly Challenge

This week's challenge is to create a non-rectangular or square card. Think shapeClick Here to see what the Design Team has created this week.

This week I'm sharing with you one of the projects that my stamp clubs will be doing.  What is funny is that I just finished it last night before I even knew what the challenge was.  So this works out perfect!

I also need to thank Canadian Independent Consultant Jan Moxey for posting her cute snowman, she is my inspiration.  Check out her blog at http://scrapandstamp4ever.blogspot.com/

I just used White Daisy Cardstock.  Cut the base into a circle card using my Small Coluzzle template on the largest circle.  Then I cut three circles using the Coluzzle template and a circle punch.  I inked the edges using our new Sky ink pad.  Stamped the face and arms of the snowman from our All Decked Out D1308 stamp set.  Stamped the hat from the same stamp set on a piece of scrap white cardstock and cut out.  Colored in all the images with our watercolor pencils.  Attached the biggest circle directily to the card base and used 3-D foam tape to add the next two circles on top.  Used a glue dot to add a piece of ribbon for the scarf.  Mini sparkles from the blue sparkles for the eyes and finally some Glitz Glitter Gel on the hat trim.  Oh, I forgot to take a picture of the inside.  It says "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow".

It's a Color Challenge

Oh my I almost forgot to add last week's Heart 2 Heart Challenge.  Click here for the link.  It is a color challenge, and let me tell you I really had to think outside the box.  Here are the colors for this week's challenge.
Here is my card.  I was having a hard time getting a good picture of it.  It is a standard card base in Colonial White and then I used my Martha Stewart punch to scallop the edge of the card front.  I used Sunset polka dots from the Hooligan's paper pack and Indian Corn Blue polka dots from the Magic Moments paper pack.  The Tree is from Four Seasons B1319 stamp set.  I stamp it using the Brown Bag ink.  Then the Sentiment is from this month's stamp of the month A Little Thanks.  The cute little blue bird if from Childhood Portriat D1373 stamp set.
